I note that the Hull -- Hornsea branch -- agreeable for this Journeys purpose; and must have been a nice line "in real life" -- has featured in very few past Journeys. Thank you for including it in this one !

We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 1952 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Manod
It follows the line of the Bala & Festiniog Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Ruabon to Barmouth Line...via Bala Junction
It then follows the line of the Aberystwith and Welsh Coast Railway...via Llangelynin
It then follows the line of the GWR Aberystwyth to Carmarthen Line...via Llanrhystyd Road
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway...via Sarnau
It then follows the line of the North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway...via Beag Fair Siding
The journey ends at the closed station of Letterston

The first closed station on this journey is Manod
