That is the name of the station that was opened some years ago, but the original station that was opened by the Leeds and Bradford Railway on a different station site was Apperley Bridge and Rawdon....but to continue....

I blame my favourite person to blame -- a certain Tony D. -- he shows this station as closed, but calls it "Apperley Bridge"; followed by a whole host of name-variations in brackets, indicating former names of this train-halting-place. But, no: I ought to have been more attentive.
