We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 1943 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Knott End-on-Sea
It follows the line of the Garstang and Knot-End (sic) Railway
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway...via Garstang and Catterall
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway...via Todd Lane Junction
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway...via Great Harwood...via the Padiham loop line
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway...via Foulridge...note 1st and 2nd staions
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Railway...via Idle (LBR)
It then follows the line of the GNR Leeds Central to Wakefield Line...via Leeds Central...via Beeston
It then follows the line of the West Riding and Grimsby Railway...via Hare Park & Crofton
It then follows the line of the GN&GEJR Doncaster to Saxilby Line...via Bessacarr Halt
It then follows the line of the GCR Clarborough Junction to Sykes Junction Branch Line...via Torksey
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line...via Tuxford North
It then follows the line of the Luton, Dunstable and Welwyn Junction Railway...via Ayot
It then follows the line of the London and Birmingham Railway...via Leighton Buzzard (1st station)
It then follows the line of the Aylesbury Railway...via Marston Gate...note 1st and 2nd stations
The journey ends at the closed station of Aylesbury High Street (2nd station)

The first closed station on this journey is Knott End-on-Sea
