We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 1926 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Dolphinton
It follows the line of the CR Dolphinton Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...via Thankerton...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway...via Brisco
It then follows the line of the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway...via Blencow
It then follows the line of the Cockermouth and Workington Railway...via Brigham
It then follows the line of the Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont Railway...via Bridgefoot....via the Eskett loop line
It then follows the line of the LNWR&FR Joint Railway...via Woodend
It then follows the line of the Whitehaven and Furness Junction Railway...via Eskmeals
It then follows the line of the Furness Railway...via Dunnerholme Halt
It then follows the line of the FR Piel Branch Line...via Salthouse Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Piel

The first closed station on this journey is Dolphinton
