A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 915 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Abergavenny Brecon Road
It follows the line of the Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway...via Dowlais Top (LNWR)
It then follows the line of the B&MR and LNWR Dowlais and Merthyr Joint Line
It then follows the line of the Quakers Yard and Merthyr Railway...note three colliery platforms
It then follows the line of the Taff Vale Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway
It then follows the line of the Wye Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Gloucester to Newport line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Ely Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Ely Valley Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the Ogmore Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Garw Valley Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Blaengarw

The first closed station on this journey is Abergavenny Brecon Road
