Rule 8 extract from the quiz rules is shown below:-

Any station either opened or closed after the termination of its use as a heavy rail station by any rail transport organisation such as the Tyne and Wear Metro system, the Manchester Metrolink system, the Croydon Tramlink system, the Nottingham Express Transit system, the West Midlands Metro system, the Edinburgh Trams system and the Blackpool Tramway system is also NOT allowed to be used as a valid posting entry on this quiz.

Brockley Whins became a station on the Tyne and Wear Metro on 31st March 2002, so that and any other similarly converted station cannot be used as posting submissions on this quiz.

The line from Bensham that my maps showed was the one that led to Gateshead at the start of this leg.

However, since it appers that all closed staions on the Durham Coast Line that are allowable have now been named, the quiz should be continued from Monkweamouth.

Sorry to say, matters at home are currently taking preference above all others.
