That one is indeed on the TVR Maerdy Branch Line, but there are two closed stations prior to that on the Taff Vale Railway Rhondda Fawr Line. The first of which is.....
Hafod (1st station)
HINT ... The one following that is also a 1st station.

I must admit to being stumped here. I can see Hafod (1st station - 1861 to 1892) on early OS maps but no trace of anything else between there and Maerdy Junction other than Porth (2nd station) which is still open. Porth (1st station) was on the main line west of Maerdy Junction, according to the maps.

Is there any query relating to the situation of the TVR closed station of Pandy ... (Opened 1st May 1861...Closed 2nd August 1886) ?

I have, after many hours of deliberation, sent a joint message to two of "The Regulars" who have been involved in the current discussions on the closed stations on the TVR Rhondda Fawr Line.
Subject to what the responses state, we can then carry on past the TVR Rhondda Fawr Line that already has had postings made upon it and carry on the the six closed stations on the final leg of this journey on the TVR Maerdy Branch Line.
If no agreement can be reached on the matters of the closed stations on the TVR Rhondda Fawr Line. then it behoves me to truncate this journey at Pontypridd Graig on the Barry Railway and to re-edit the journey preamble to reflect that decision. I will then launch a new leg starting in the north-eastern part of England.
Subject to what the responses state, we can then carry on past the TVR Rhondda Fawr Line that already has had postings made upon it and carry on the the six closed stations on the final leg of this journey on the TVR Maerdy Branch Line.

ADJUDICATION
The matter of Pandy is now resolved and its position has been established as being AFTER the junction that led to the TVR Maerdy branch line, so that station cannot feature as a posting submission on this quiz.
The position of Porth station has now been clarified by @DerekC in the "discussion conversation" that was held for which I am most grateful.
Therefore the quiz can now re-commence on the final leg of this journey, the TVR Maerdy branch line, with its six closed stations.
