We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 897 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of North Leith
It follows the line of the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh Suburban and Southside Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the North British Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the NER Kelso Branch Line
It then follows the line of the NER Cornhill Branch Line
It then follows the line of the NER Alnwick Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Berwick Railway
It then follows the line of the Wansbeck Railway
It then follows the line of the Border Counties Railway
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway...via the North Wylam loop line
It then follows the line of the NER Durham Coast Line
It then follows the line of the Clarence Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Clarence Railway Byers Green Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Coundon

The first closed station on this journey is North Leith
