A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to the Wales/England border region for the next journey.....

This is number 849 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Fenn's Bank
It follows the line of the Oswestry, Ellesmere and Whitchurch Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Oswestry to Gobowen Branch Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Shrewsbury to Chester Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Ruabon to Barmouth Line
It then follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Aberystwyth to Carmarthen Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Abergwili to Llandeilo Line
It then follows the line of the Llanelly Railway and Dock Company...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Vale of Towy Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Glanrhyd Road

The first closed station on this journey is Fenn's Bank
