I think we missed the station of Jolly Sailor (1839 - 1859) about a quarter of a mile north of the modern station of Norwood Junction.

General Information
East Grinstead (1st station...1855-1866) could not be used as a posting submission earlier as it was only a very short distance away from the second station which was correctly used.

My understanding is that East Grinstead 1st station was a terminus to the south of and at a higher level than the through station that replaced it.
Update: to my astonishment the station building from the 1855 station survives - currently a chiropractic clinic. Here is a Google Street View shot of it. The relief road which has replaced the railway we are currently travelling on is on the far right of the shot at a lower level.

After Tunbridge Wells West (original location) which has already been posted, I am wondering as to the following sequence, as the heritage line seemed to have different sites to the original LB&SCR line......unless I have been informed incorrectly.

That would take us through to the open station of Eridge, where the posting shown above would then carry on
