QUERY

On this current journey, after leaving Lethenty on the first leg, would we have called at the 1st closed station that was known originally as Inverury, before we accessed the closed station of Inveramsay?

I think not - as I understand it the first Inverurie station was south of the current one which we reversed at to head north on the GNoS main line.

ADJUDICATION

That station falls foul of Rule 3C as it was opened by the heritage railway in July 1978 and was closed in July 1998.

Rule 3C shows this station as one of its examples.
