HINT

Niblicks could well have been brought to the next closed station.

The hint was very useful because I was wondering which end of the Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont Railway (aka LNWR & FR Joint) to enter. Since a niblick is something to do with golf (although I don't know what) we are obviously going the long way round and the next station must be:

We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 836 in the series so far.....


The journey starts at the closed station of Churchdown
It follows the line of the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Gloucester Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Oxford and Rugby Railway (East and West Junction Railway)
It then follows the line of the Banbury and Cheltenham Direct Railway
It then follows the line of the Midland and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Berks and Hants Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the Stert and Westbury Railway
It then follows the line of the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway
It then follows the line of the Langport and Castle Cary Railway
It then follows the line of the B&ER Yeovil to Taunton Line
It then follows the line of the Bristol and Exeter Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line o the South Devon Railway
It then follows the line of the Plymouth, Devonport and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the South Devon and Tavistock Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Bickleigh

The first closed station on this journey is Churchdown.
