We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 824 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Fockerby
It follows the line of the AJR Fockerby Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Axholme Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Railway...via Skellingthorpe (GN&GEJR)
It then follows the line of the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway....via Skellingthorpe (LD&ECR)
It then follows the line of the LD&ECR Beighton Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Great Central Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Gloucester Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Tewksbury and Malvern Railway
It then follows the line of the Worcester and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Shipston-on-Stour Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Shipston-on-Stour

The first closed station on this journey is Fockerby

Skellingthorpe

If I understand the plan rightly; the above was Skellingthorpe's GE&GN station. We now go on to Pyewipe Junction (no station); or Lincoln (Central) -- still open -- "according"; to reverse: out again westward on LD&ECR line -- next station is

Skellingthorpe (LD&ECR)
