Bradford Peverell & Stratton Halt

I read "Wilts, Somerset & Weymouth" per preamble; as referring to this GWR line, not northward from Dorchester, but southward -- heading ultimately for final station on the Isle of Portland.

Portland (2nd station) -- 1st was a terminus, off the succeeding through route.

We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 819 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Mossend
It follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Preston Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Grand Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Darlaston Loop Line
It then follows the line of the South Staffordshire Railway
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Derby Junction Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Branston

The first closed station on this journey is Mossend
