We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 799 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Newcastle Emlyn
It follows the line of the C&CR Teifi Valley Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Carmarthen to Aberystwyth Line
It then follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the Newtown and Machynlleth Railway
It then follows the line of the Oswestry and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury and Welshpool Railway
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Merthyr, Tredegar and Abergavenny Railway
It then follows the line of the Brynmawr and Blaenavon Railway
It then follows the line of the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway
It then follows the line of the Monmouthshire Railway and Canal Company
It then follows the line of the Pontypool, Caerleon and Newport Railway
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Cowbridge Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Cowbridge

The first closed station on this journey is Newcastle Emlyn

I agree that Park Prewett was at the end of a short branch from Basingstoke. The book "Private and Untimetabled Railway Stations" by G.Croughton also states dates unknown when (or if) station opened or closed.
