Apologies to all, we have only just returned home from visiting the new property that will be living in on the Handforth border from early January 2020. It is 15 years since we last moved, but medical reasons affecting Patricia (now aged 78) has made the move essential, with neither of us now driving.

I will set a new journey ASAP.

We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 759 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Brymbo (WM&CQR)
It follows the line of the WM&CQR Brymbo Branch Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Wrexham to Sun Bank Halt Branch Line
It then follows the line of the GWR Ruabon to Barmouth Line
It then follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Aberystwyth to Carmarthen Line
It then follows the line of the West Wales Line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Railway
It then follows the line of the Vale of Neath Railway
It then follows the line of the TVR Aberdare Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Pontcynon Bridge Halt

The first closed station on this journey is Brymbo (WM&CQR)
