That sounds awful Paul. Hope you’re ok.Sorry to say that last night, at 2200, I received a call at home from a doctor at Stepping Hill Hospital to say that the last blood tests that had been sent to their hospital laboratories had revealed a low potassium figure of 2.7 and that an ambulance had been sent to pick me up as there was an imminent danger to health. We arrived at the hospital at 2340 where immediate blood samples were taken and I was then placed in a hospital bed in the A&E department and given an ECG scan and was connected to a heart monitor. Patricia was given a similar bed to lie on next to mine in the same wide screened-off cublicle.
At 0300 this morning, I was then attached to a clear bag of potassium liquid, which took four hours to empty into my system. I was then seen by a consultant later this morning to say my potassium level had risen to a more acceptable level of 3.6 and that the heart monitor had revealed an irregular heartbeat pattern. I was then told that an ambulance would return both of us home, but after three hours, no such ambulance came, so I was forced to take a taxi back home, as both Patricia and I had not taken our morning 0700 daily drugs, nor had been given a hospital breakfast. We arrived home at 1500 and retired to bed after taking our medication

Shields Road? (Prepared to be wrong)
It’s complicated around here. I’ll sit back and watch for a moment. We have just accessed the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway at Elderslie, so we would have passed through the closed station of....

There was a short-lived "tunnel station platform" to the south of here.
Hmm - that would be Mossgeil Tunnel Platform, I think. Sources would suggest that it was for workers engaged in reconstructing the tunnel. Not sure whether it counts as a workmen's platform (in which case it should be included) or a railway staff halt (in which case it shouldn't). Referee's decision needed!!
