I am sure that station is on the Harrogate Line.

Once again -- Mr. Dewick has seemingly been at the "happy juice", and I've been taking him at face value, without checking with any other source. Complete Atlas of Railway Station Names shows a Weeton just south-east of Singleton; but Wiki appears to know nothing about it. I'm striking "Weeton" out.

Apologies for prolonged absence - our broadband connection has been down since Tuesday and BT/Openreach can't fix it until (earliest) Monday. I am online now courtesy of a kind neighbour!
