After passing through Mossend on the Caledonian Railway Main Line, we next accessed the Cleland and Midcalder Railway
On that line was their closed station of Overtown (CMR)

We then next accessed the line of the Clydesdale Junction Railway
On that line was their closed station of Newton (CJR)

Then we accessed the line of the Glasgow Central Railway

Otterpool was the last closed station on the CLC Garston and Liverpool Railway

Garston was situated on the CLC North Liverpool Extension Line, which we do not visit on this particular journey.

I had inadvertently supposed that when the posting of Garston was made, it was to be that of Garston Dock, which in this direction of travel is the first closed station we meet on the St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway, so I then made my posting of Church Road, Garston.
