A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 650 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of West Kirby (BJR)
It follows the line of the GWR and LNWR Birkenhead Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Birkenhead Railway...via the Overpool loop line.
It then follows the line of the Warrington and Newtown Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway
It then follows the line of the North Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn and Preston Railway
It then follows the line of the Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington and Colne Extension Railway....there is just one closed 1st station
It then follows the line of the ELR Accrington to Bury Line
It then follows the line of the LYR Broadfield Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway
It then follows the line of the Bolton and Leigh Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Bolton Great Moor Street

The first closed station on this journey is West Kirby (BJR)
