We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 642 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Elmesthorpe
It follows the line of the South Leicestershire Railway
It then follows the line of the Midland Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Kettering, Thrapston and Huntingdon Railway
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the East and West Yorkshire Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Pilmoor, Boroughbridge and Knaresborough Railway
It then follows the line of the NER Malton and Thirsk Line
It then follows the line of the NER Gilling and Pickering Line
It then follows the line of the Forge Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Y&NMR Scarborough to York Line
It then follows the line of the York and North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR Stainland Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Stainland and Holywell Green

The first closed station on this journey is Elmesthorpe
