We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 640 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Heads Nook
It follows the line of the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway...via the North Wylam loop line
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Darlington Junction Railway...via Gateshead East
It then follows the line of the NER Leamside Line
It then follows the line of the North Eastern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the York and North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the Lincolnshire Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Northampton and Peterborough Railway
It then follows the line of the MR Northampton to Bedford Line
It then follows the line of the Midland Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the MR Dudding Hill Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Harlesden (1875-1902)

The first closed station on this journey is Heads Nook

Allerwash was situated after the open station of Haydon Bridge and before the closed station of Fourstones

The next closed station after Fourstones was that of Warden
I’ll delete mine and perhaps Mr Calthrop and I can swap stations?

I made my entry and then went straight to bed ! Call me thick, but, Cowley, I'm not quite sure what you mean here -- but let's deem it done. (No station put forward just now -- I have little clue about the Newcastle area.)
