A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 631 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Methil
It follows the line of the Wemyss and Buckhaven Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Northern Railway...a very short stretch with a single closed station
It then follows the line of the Leven and East of Fife Railway
It then follows the line of the Anstruther and St Andrews Railway
It then follows the line of the Newport Railway
It then follows the line of the NBR Tay Bridge Line...a very short stretch with a single closed station
It then follows the line of the Dundee and Arbroath Railway
It then follows the line of the Arbroath and Forfar Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Central Railway
It then follows the line of the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway
It then follows the line of the NBR Kincardine Line
It then follows the line of the Stirling and Dunfermline Railway
It then follows the line of the Devon Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Fife and Kinross Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Northern Railway...note two instances of 1st and 2nd closed stations
The journey ends at the closed station of Bridge of Earn (2nd closed station)

The first closed station on this journey is Methil
