On the opposite side of the road overbridge from Palmersville T&W Metro station so I think it's OK.


PS - I think we missed Holywell, between Seghill and Backworth

Prior to that, just after the junction, was Backworth (2nd station site)....so to finally name the last closed station on this journey....

Forest Hall (B&TR) (1864-1871)

I will launch the new next journey shortly.

I owe Ash Bridge an apology here. Holywell was the original name of Backworth (1st station). According to "Disused Stations" the name Holywell remained in use for goods purposes and the goods station remained open (still called Holywell) after the Backworth 1st station closed to passengers. So I have some excuse for getting confused!

It then follows the line of the Stratford-upon-Avon, Towcester and Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the GWR Honeybourne Line
It then follows the line of the Banbury and Cheltenham Direct Railway
It then follows the line of the Midland and South Western Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Berks and Hants Railway
It then follows the line of the Stert and Westbury Railway
It then follows the line of the Wilts, Somerset and Weymouth Railway
It then follows the line of the Langport and Castle Cary Railway

The journey ends at the closed station of Hemyock

The first closed station on this journey is Delph

On the GWR Honeybourne Line, Hayles Abbey Halt is now open as a heritage station.
