Noting in passing that there have been two stations at Llancaiach. Llancaiach (1858 - 1912) was about 300m south east of Nelson and Llancaiach (1912 - 1964), on the far side of Taff Bargoed Junction. (There was also Nelson (TVR) but we didn't pass through that one on this trip)
