Does anyone know of a map or track diagram for Trawsfynydd Camp? I was trying to work out where the military platforms were, but the OS maps I have access to are 1903 (before they were built) and 1972 (long after they were demolished). However the 1973 map and lay of the ground as it looks from Google Earth suggest strongly that they were terminating platforms on a spur accessible from the north, in which case I would suggest they shouldn't count. (No criticism intended, just seeking information for future journeys).
Herewith signalling diagram of Trawfynydd showing the Camp station.

I may well be wrong here but I can't see many closed stations for quite a long stretch. I'm ready to cross out if I'm wrong
Conway Marsh?
Blaenau Festiniog North was opened on 1st April 1881 to replace the Blaenau Festiniog (Pantyrafon) station and on 22nd March 1982 a new station was opened near to the town centre.
The LNWR closed its temporary Pantyrafon terminus by the tunnel mouth and opened its permanent station nearer the town centre, which it called "Blaenau Festiniog". It would go on to be renamed twice ("Blaenau Ffestiniog North" from 1951 and plain "Blaenau Ffestiniog" from 1968) and be described in timetables successively as Blaenau Festiniog (L&NW), Blaenau Festiniog (LMS), Blaenau Festiniog, Blaenau Ffestiniog North and finally Blaenau Ffestiniog.
To me that states clearly that the LNWR and North at Blaenau Festiniog stations were the same. Is that not correct?

Brian - thanks, that's great. At first sight it does look as though the camp station platform served the main line as well as the sidings, but there is a suspiciously large gap between the platform and the running line. It would probably take a photograph to prove the point. Do you have access to the high resolution version of the diagram?
Derek- If you wish to discuss this further please PM me on this subject. I have taken the diagram from the web. Further details on the Wikipedia article.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trawsfynydd_Camp_railway_station
