I've cycled down here from Guildford to Shoreham across two days, nice and flat of course as an old railway!

I think I've made a mistake as Paul said to go via Woolmar but I didn't read the map properly sorry

We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 529 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Barnton
It follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Barnton Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Granton Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh Suburban Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line...via the Balerno loop line
It then follows the line of the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway
It then follows the line of the Ingleton Branch Line
It then follows the line of the "Little" North Western Railway
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the GNR Keighley to Queensbury Line
It then follows the line of the Halifax and Ovenden Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR and GNR Halifax High Level Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Halifax St Pauls

The first closed station on this journey is Barnton
