We next move to England for the next journey......
This is number 524 in the series so far.....
The journey starts at the closed station of Hooley Hill
It follows the line of the Stalybridge Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the LNWR Manchester to Leeds Line...via the Micklehurst loop line
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the North Midland Railway
It then follows the line of the Erewash Valley Line...via the 2nd and 3rd Long Eaton stations
It then follows the line of the Midland Counties Railway
It then follows the line of the Leicester to Burton upon Trent Line...via the Bagworth loop line....Note some 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the GNR Derbyshire and Staffordshire Extension
It then follows the line of the Nottingham Suburban Railway
It then follows the line of the Ambergate, Nottingham, Boston and Eastern Junction Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Grantham Ambergate Yard

Horbury is one of those places with a complicated history of stations. Horbury and Ossett seems to have had two sites, but they were only a hundred yards apart so .....Horbury Millfield Road
