We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....
This is number 521 in the series so far.....
The journey starts at the closed station of Newhouse
It follows the line of the CR Airdrie and Newhouse Line
It then follows the line of the Rutherglen and Coatbridge Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow Central Railway
It then follows the line of the Lanarkshire and Dumbarton Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian and Dumbartonshire Junction Railway...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Dumbarton and Helensburgh Railway...link line only, no closed stations
It then follows the line of the West Highland Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Fersit Halt

Was there a chord that allowed trains to go direct from Kirklee to Kelvinside, without the need to call first at Maryhill Central.
