We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 513 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of North Leith
It follows the line of the Edinburgh, Leith and Newhaven Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh Suburban and Southside Railway
It then follows the line of the North British Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Kelso Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Cornhill Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Alnwick Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Berwick Railway
It then follows the line of the Wansbeck Railway
It then follows the line of the Border Counties Railway
It then follows the line of the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway...via the North Wylam loop line
It then follows the line of the North Eastern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the GN&GEJR Doncaster to Spalding Line
It then follows the line of the Midland and Great Northern Railway
It then follows the line of the M&GNR Norwich Branch Line
The journey ends at the closed station of Norwich City

The first closed station on this journey is North Leith

I must admit that I thought we were going to take a quick trip round the Edinburgh Southside & Suburban, but since we are heading down the main line it's Inveresk
