Clyne Halt

The current station of Skewen on the South Wales Main Line seems to have had two predecessors. Skewen 2nd (1910 to 1964) was only 100yd or so from the current station so wouldn't count. Skewen 1st (opened as Dynevor) was about I/4 mile to the west, so I would have thought may be a candidate for us.

I think that Cwmbach (1st station) came prior to Abercwmboi Halt

I hadn't spotted Cwmneol Halt. Cwmbach seems to be on the parallel GWR line. How do we resolve this one? My next suggestion is Fernhill (1st), but it is rather close to the current station and anyway, is it my turn?

Yes, it is your turn to make the next posting, but note that Cwmbach had its original station on a different alignment originally to that of the later station. There were two Fernhill stations which were situated on different lines.

There is still another "first station" after the one that you have named above which is then followed by the two remaining halts.
