Apologies for my absence of late on the thread, but the charity consultancy work has been somewhat onerous of late and last night, I was at a meeting at the Bridge Hotel in Prestbury (in its quiet setting of being next to the parish church), which fortunately for me is a lot nearer to home than the other meeting place in Kidsgrove.

Please be assured that if ever I see a journey coming to an end, I will always be ready to launch a new one, to keep thread matters moving.

Incidentally, I hope that the updated October 2016 quiz rules will obviate some of the recent queries that have surfaced.
