PS - I presume that being a stop on the Guided Busway doesn't preclude the station being claimed. No doubt Paul will advise when he returns!

PPS - just checked - Rule 8 says it's OK! Phew!!

We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 467 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at Hallcraig Street (Airdrie)
It follows the line of the Ballochney Railway
It then follows the line of the Slamannan Railway
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway...using the Ratho loop line
It then follows the line of the Edinburgh and Hawick Railway
It then follows the line of the Peebles Railway
It then follows the line of the Symington, Biggar and Broughton Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Carlisle and Silloth Bay Railway
The final closed station on this journey is Silloth

The first closed station on this journey is Hallcraig Street (Airdrie)

Lots of interesting railway history around here - 1830s route from Glasgow to Edinburgh by rail and canal prior to the opening of the E&GR.
