That was the final closed station, so bear with me whilst I next launch another multi-leg journey

We next move to Scotland for the next journey.....

This is number 447 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Whithorn
It follows the line of the Wigtownshire Railway
It then follows the line of the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Castle Douglas and Dumfries Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Maryport and Carlisle Railway...via the Mealsgate loop line
It then follows the line of the Cumbrian Coast Main Line....as far as Sellafield
It then follows the line of the Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont Railway Southern Extension
It then follows the line of the Cleator and Workington Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Cockermouth and Workington Railway
It then follows the line of the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith Railway
It then follows the line of the Eden Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the South Durham and Lancashire Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Tees Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Middlesbrough and Guisborough Railway
It then follows the line of the Cleveland Railway
It then follows the line of the Whitby, Redcar and Middlesbrough Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Scarborough and Whitby Railway
It then follows the line of the York to Scarborough Line
It then follows the line of the Derwent Valley Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Great Northern Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Bourne and Essendine Railway
It then follows the line of the Bourne to Sleaford Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Great Northern and Great Eastern Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Hull & Barnsley and Great Central Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Hull and Barnsley Railway
It then follows the line of the Hull and Hornsea Railway...via the alternative route and note that one station has both 1st and 2nd closed stations
The journey ends at the closed station of Hornsea

The first closed station on this journey is Whithorn
