Hereford Moorfields?

Was Moorfields actually on our route? Some of the information I can find suggests that it was a terminus approached directly only from the HH&B

We didn't count the first station at Pontypool Road - is that because it is considered too close to the second? Note that the criteria for this seem to be a bit variable!

Hereford Moorfields, 1852-1874, was always a through station and to the north of the station there was a triangular junction that gave connections to the Hereford, Hay and Brecon Railway and then to both north-facing and south-facing chords connected to the running line of the Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway

There may be some confusion here, as the first station in the area was that of the Monmouthshire Railway and Canal Company which had its own station on Crane Street, ut there was never any connection to the running line of the Newport, Abergavenny and Hereford Railway which opened its own station of Pontypool Road in 1852 which kept that name until it was renamed as Pontypool in 1972 and renamed again as Pontypool and New Inn in 1994
