was station no.3...!

Before that there was..
East Grinstead (first station) 1855- 1866
East Grinstead (second station) 1866-1883

all on different sites although remarkable the station building of station no.1 still survives.

GUIDE NOTE SECTION

In response to recent PM received by me, the matter of the more learned railway station knowledge of railway stations where different sites were involved, it is hereby agreed that postings with the knowledge of such matters that state for example, all three of the locations on the closed Long Eaton stations, both the locations of closed railway stations at Tollerton on the North Eastern Railway Main Line, Waverton on the Crewe and Chester Railway and Port Dinorwic on the Bangor and Caernarvon Railway WILL be allowed.

However, it is up to contestants to make a decision as to whether they wish to make such a posting or not.

This is the reason why I added this "Guide note section" that is shown above as an addendum to the rules on the very first posting of this quiz.

If we are heading joining the West Coastway at Fishbourne Crossing and heading east then the next closed station would be...
Drayton
