We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 309 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Woodside
It follows the line of the Woodside and South Croydon Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Oxted Line
It then follows the line of the East Grinstead and Lewes Line
It then follows the line of the Wealden Line...note the connections to the next line
It then follows the line of Tunbridge Wells Central to Three Bridges Line
It then follows the line of the Arun Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Midhurst Railways
It then follows the line of the West Coastway Line
It then follows the line of the East Coastway Line
It then follows the line of the Hastings to Tonbridge Line
It then follows the line of the Kent and East Sussex Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Frittenden Road

The first closed station on this journey is Woodside

There was an unadvertised halt called Purley Downs Golf Club Halt open 1914 closed 1927 between Sanderstead and Riddlesdown which I presume the latter replaced it when opened in 1927.

When Bingham Road opened in 1935 it replaced Bingham Road Halt which was on a different site just north.

Do stations opened by a Heritage Railway and then subsequently closed by the same heritage railway count..?

Newly updated rules effective from October 2014

(3)....Stations that were closed....but then re-opened either by a heritage railway or National Rail...are not allowed to be used on this quiz IF THEY WERE CONSTRUCTED ON THE SAME SITE..... OSWESTRY, SHILLINGSTONE and KIRKBY STEPHEN EAST have been deemed to be reopened heritage stations for the purposes of this quiz and as such, cannot be used in posting submissions

Does rule 3 and rule 5 help with that query?

Addition to last posting:-

(5) ....Any station either opened or closed after the termination of its use as a heavy rail station by any rail transport organisation such as the Manchester Metrolink system and the Tyne and Wear Metro is also NOT allowed to be used as a valid posting entry on this quiz. Any station that was opened by a heritage railway and then closed is NOT allowed on this quiz. However, any line that was converted to a Guided Busway will be allowed, as that is not a rail-based mode of travel.

I suppose that reference was being made to the closed heritage stations at Bluebell Halt / Holywell Waterworks / Freshfield Halt / Ketches Farm Halt
