Though do the 5 stations count? They were never actually opened so never closed, just built and left unused

They were, as you say, built and never officially used in a service timetable but an informant did tell me that a few excursion trains from the Doncaster areas called at all of these, so I decided to show these for the very first time. I would still have used this line as a link line that lead to the Hull and Barnsley Railway and the position of the fifth and final station on this line gives a useful hint as to where that particular railway would have been joined

Going back a few pages, I believe there was a Rowntree Halt between Haxby and Layerthorpe in York. I was elsewhere at the time so didn't spot it then

I was "reliably informed" that Rowntree Halt was not actually on the through running line of the Derwent Valley Light Railway, but situated as a terminal stop within the confines of the chocolate factory itself.

Your informants may well be right

Wiki shows it as being on the 'main' line with a siding going off into the factory immediately afterwards - but is then somewhat uncertain in its written description
