Location
A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to England for the next journey....

This is number 212 in the series so far....

The Journey starts at the closed station of St Germain's
It follows the line of the Lynn and Ely Railway
It then follows the line of the Ely and St Ives Railway....Note there were two line alignments in the Sutton area
It then follows the line of the West Anglia Main Line...a very short section with no closed stations
It then follows the line of the Stour Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Great Eastern Railway Main Line...Beware of the station that never actually opened
The journey ends at the closed station of Bishopsgate Low Level

The first closed station on this journey is St Germain's

The original terminus station became a goods station when the line was extended and a new station built on a different alignment. The whole line is now closed
