Can I bring matters to an abrupt halt

After we passed through Fishponds, we carried through into the main Bristol area to traverse the Heart of Wessex line, but it appears that someone has now decided to go make a posting of Meir unfortunately.

Meir is a station on the North Staffordshire Railway situated in the area between Normacot and Blythe Bridge.

Not sure I understand what's wrong/different with Twerton - or Westmoreland Street (as an original site) or Hampton Row Halt. They are all as much 'on' the Heart Of Wessex line (surely a modern construct as to name anyway) as Bathampton, St Annes Park and Saltford

Meir - sounds like a total misunderstanding by a newcomer

Anyway I believe the next closed station after Limpley Stoke is Witham

I am pleased to be clear of the Bristol/Bath area and I see that your posting of Witham now takes us onto the next line, so I will post...

Alford Halt

Patricia and I are shortly setting off to make a journey to the new Manchester Metrolink station at Manchester Airport to travel on it to Cornbrook on its first official day.

Just realised we missed Strap Lane Halt after Witham

Long Sutton and Pitney

I am now "back in harness", as they say, after celebrations the first-day celebrations on the Manchester Metrolink Airport Line.

Whilst we are on the subject of missing stations, there was the closed railway station of Somerton that was situated in-between Charlton Mackrell and Long Sutton and Pitney.

I must agree that instead of using the wording of "Heart of Wessex Line", the term "Wessex Main Line" would have made matters somewhat clearer. I have noted this fact on the preamble.

However, after Bristol Temple Meads, the closed stations of St.Anne's Park, Saltford, Twerton-on-Avon, (Westmoreland Street needs more research), Hampton Row Halt and Bathampton are on the said line, which carries through the Bathamption Junction and onwards to the closed station of Limpley Stoke.
