Are we going via Leeds? I thought we were heading to York to join the York & North Midland - I'm slightly confused now!

We started on the Harrogate to Church Fenton line, where we stopped at Tadcaster, Newton Kyme, Thorpe Arch, Wetherby Racecourse and at Spofforth on the way to its junction with the Harrogate line.

There is still one final station to name on the first line, which closed in 1869. I cannot name this, as I posted Spofforth.

When we do eventually commence upon the Harrogate line, it will be in the direction of York, then to follow the line of the York and North Midland Railway
