We next move to Scotland for the next journey......

This is number 176 in the series so far....

The journey starts at the closed station of Hamilton (original station)
It follows the line of the Glasgow, Bothwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge Railway
It then follows the line of the NBR Coatbridge Branch
It then follows the lie of the City of Glasgow Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow and Paisley Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway....using the Montgreenan loop line
It then follows the line of the Ayr to Mauchline Branch
It then follows the line of the Mauchline and Dunure Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Girvan and Portpatrick Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Portpatrick and Wigtownshire Joint Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Portpatrick Harbour

The first closed station on this journey is Hamilton (original station)
