Sorry to once again "rain on your parade" but Heywood is now an East Lancashire Railway reopened Heritage station, so cannot be used on this quiz.

Stations that were closed....but then re-opened either by a heritage railway or National Rail...are not allowed to be used on this quiz IF THEY WERE CONSTRUCTED ON THE SAME SITE..... OSWESTRY has been deemed to be a reopened heritage station for the purposes of this quiz and as such, cannot be used in posting submissions.....Also any station either opened or closed by any transport organisation such as the Manchester Metrolink system and the Tyne and Wear Metro is NOT allowed to be used on this quiz.

Apologies - I thought the present station on the ELR was on a different site further east from the original station - so sure, in fact, that I didn't bother to check! Looking at Google Earth the new platform extend further east than originally but start roughly mid-way along the old platforms.

Therefore the next closed station is actually:
