We now move to North Wales for the next journey....
This quiz is number 150 so far....Yet another landmark reached...
The journey starts at the closed station of Gaerwen
It follows the line of the Chester and Holyhead Railway...NOTE : There is a closed station featured near to a castle....that was open from 1895 to 1929
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury to Chester line...with a reversal in order to do this
It then follows the line of the Severn Valley Railway
It then follows the line of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway
It then follows the line of the Cotswold Line
It then follows the line of the Ledbury and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Bristol and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Bristol and North Somerset Railway...using the Camerton loop line
It then follows the line of the Salisbury Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Salisbury and Dorset Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Southampton and Dorchester Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Creekmoor Halt
The first closed station on this journey is Gaerwen
