It was definitely there to serve the nearby holiday camps

It opened in July 1914 and closed in May 1918
It reopened August 1919 and finally closed in May 1970.

Well, we have now completed that extremely long journey that started on the other coastline at Fleetwood.

I will set another journey...this time starting in Scotland.
