Goods stations that have NEVER had any passenger services are not allowed to be used on this quiz

Above, you will see an extract from the rules of this quiz that are shown on the very first posting.

During the time when I was designing this quiz, some old records have been consulted by a collegue in the Whitehaven area who telephoned me to say that passenger trains did stop there quite regularly in the early days in order that the passengers could use a ferry service from there. It was this same person who has added all these new stations to the information to which you allude.
