We now move to Scotland for the next journey

This quiz is number 129 so far...

The journey starts at the closed station of Moniaive
It follows the line of the Cairn Valley Light Railway
It then follows the line of the Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Cumbrian Coast Line...Using the Mealsgate loop line and the Preston Street loop line
It then follows the line of the Furness Line
It then follows the line of the Furness and Midland Joint Railway
It then follows the line of the "Little" North Western Railway
It then follows the line of the Leeds and Bradford Extension Railway
It then follows the line of the GNR Keighley to Queensbury Line
It then follows the line of the Halifax and Ovenden Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR Halifax to Sowerby Bridge Line
It then follows the line of the Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the Dearne Valley Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Edlington

The first closed station on this journey is Moniaive

SPECIAL NOTE TO REGULAR CONTESTANTS

Recent researches have revealed some extra little known closed halts on the Cumbrian Coast Line and the Furness Line which have now been incorporated into those legs on this quiz. However it does include the closed stations of Whitehaven Harbour and Preston Street on that particular loop line

Did you note what the preamble said on the Cumbrian Coast line and also the final paragraph footnote about the extra closed stations on this line and the Furness line ?

Yes thanks. I noted that the Preston Street loop has now been added too. That answers one question.

I won't have access to the forum tomorrow as i'm busy all day.
