Well done to all concerned on that last journey..........

We now move to Scotland for the next journey....

This quiz is number 102 so far....

To make matters slightly different, we will start a sequence of journeys where CLOSED stations feature at the start and finish of each journey.

The journey starts at the CLOSED station of Fortrose
It follows the line of the Fortrose Branch Line
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Ross-shire Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Nairn Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Perth and Dunkeld Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Midland Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Scottish Central Railway
It then follows the line of the Caledonian Railway Main Line
It then follows the line of the Maryport and Carlisle Railway (Using the Mealgate loop line)
It then follows the line of the Cockermouth and Workington Railway
It then follows the line of the Cleator and Workington Junction Railway
The journey ends at the CLOSED station of Cleator Moor West

The first closed station on this journey is Fortrose
