As promised, this is the special celebration journey number 100 on this long-running quiz, so I have planned a circular tour of many of the closed railway stations in Wales to mark this achievement.

The journey starts at the open station of Carmarthen
It follows the line of the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth line
It then follows the line of the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway
It then follows the line of the Ruabon to Barmouth line
It then follows the line of the Denbigh, Ruthin and Corwen Railway
It then follows the line of the Mold and Denbigh Junction Railway
It then follows the line of the Mold Railway
It then follows the line of the Chester and Holyhead Railway
It then follows the line of the Chester to Shrewsbury line
It then follows the line of the Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway
It then follows the line of the Hereford, Ross and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Ross and Monmouth Railway
It then follows the line of the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway
It then follows the line of the Welsh Marches Line
It then follows the line of the South Wales Main Line
It then follows the line of the Vale of Glamorgan line...using the Penarth Docks loop line
The journey ends at the open station of Barry

The first closed station on this journey is Cynwyl Elfed
