The matter of the restoration work being carried out at Kirkby Stephen East and the associated trackwork would appear to say that this is now a "heritage-reopened station", in the same manner as the similar works that have been carried out at Oswestry station. I have made numerous telephone calls to contacts during the preparation of this particular journey and there have been differences of opinion expressed to me, so I am no wiser than I was originally. Please let me have your thoughts upon this matter, please
